BURT & JOE WOLFF BURT WOLFF - See Burt Owner/Vice President/Composer/Computer Fixer JOE WOLFF - See Joe Owner/President/Composer/Roof Manager The course of human history is marked by great examples of siblings working side by side to immortalize their family name. Together, the Wright Brothers pioneered aviation, The Hardy Boys solved countless page-turning mysteries and most impressively of all, Hanson ba duba dop ba doo bopped their way to their magnum opus, MMMBop. In similar fashion, Burt & Joe Wolff forged their own everlasting legacy by inscribing their company's moniker on massive quantities of mugs, mouse pads and T-shirts. Born into a musical family just slightly less 'happening' than the Partridges, Burt & Joe spent their formative years growing up on Rockaway Beach. When they weren't placing pennies on the Atom Smasher's rollercoaster tracks, the Wolff boys spent their summer days surfing with their leather-clad next-door neighbors, Joey, Johnny and Dee Dee Ramone. In the same year that Bryan Adams bought his first real six-string at the five and dime, Burt migrated south to attend Emory University. A year later, Joe showed up to crash at his pad, and the two decided that getting degrees in Psychology would be real groovy. Throughout the seventies, Burt & Joe wrote songs, played in bands, engineered albums, designed recording studios, and sold instruments to the likes of Bob Dylan, Ted Nugent, Isaac Hayes and Lester Maddox - not a joke! In 1981, they took the profits from a guitar string-cleaning product they invented and opened up Lotus Productions, better known as Wolff Brothers Music. In a coin flip, they decided the structure of the Wolff Brothers executive chain. As President, Joe likes to employ astronomical anomalies in stewarding the company through the vast uncertainties of an uncharted business universe. As Vice President, Burt constantly reminds "Hubble Joe" that relying on a planet's perihelion is not his idea of a sound strategy for success. Then there's usually about 40 minutes of uncomfortable silence until a Steely Dan song comes on and they both start jamming. In the late 80's, Burt and Joe also found time to found a record label called Transitions Music, which pioneered the method of combining womb sounds with soothing music to get newborn babies to shut the hell up and go to sleep. These innovative recordings not only went on to win the prestigious Parents' Choice Award, but also became a cult phenomenon amongst exhausted parents across the land. In 1991, Wolff Brothers Digital Audio was unveiled and by 1997 it had grown into Wolff Bros Post. The Man tried to convince Burt & Joe to run their business like everyone else, but together they said, hey man - get off of our cloud, followed by several other harmonic renditions of classic rock clichés including Inna Gadda da Vida, which is always fun to work into a conversation. By not hiring some interfering suit who's overly concerned with the latest TPS Report, Wolff Bros Post has achieved an important distinction. We're known not as a Post House, but a Post Home. We deliver excellence (along with Chick-fil-A biscuits every Monday morning) and continually provide our clients with a comfortable, stress free environment.
You can always depend on the highest quality service when you book a session at Wolff Bros, and perhaps at lunch you'll even learn a thing or two about Joe's spiritual journey to the banks of the Ganges at the foothills of the Himalayas. Or not! And if this bio scares you, don't worry - we keep the bros pretty much isolated in a back room.
